I’ve decided to sell my 2007 Shelby GT. With less than 9,000 miles these 319 ponies have a long way to run before they die. If only this expert fishtailing machine was better equipped to handle Utah’s inordinate amount of snow.
So I stumbled into the ethereal and ambiguous world of hybrid cars yesterday as I began my hunt for a second, highly efficient car. I checked specs and reviews on the most common hybrids, like the Toyota Prius, Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and Toyota Camry Hybrid. I was shocked, though, to see a name I didn’t recognize. The 2012 Fisker Karma became a blimp on my radar and I delved into what little information I could find (wikipedia and fiskerautomotive.com were good places to start). While the car itself is sleek and stylish, I wasn’t impressed with many of the limitations and pitfalls, including the price tag of $95,900.
I started this website purely to learn how to build a website. I chose a topic I absolutely love – cars.
Believe it or not I get over 7,000 visitors a month to this site, and until today I haven’t had any kind of contact form or email address readily available! I’m making an effort to expand the site and I’d love to hear your feedback about what you like/don’t like and what you’d like to see added. Also, I have the most extensive list of car names that I’ve been able to find on the Internet. I’m still working on all of the models starting with numbers, but if you see something I’ve missed PLEASE let me know. I’d love to keep my car name list up to date.
